Ontario MPT Accelerator Course – August 8-9, 2026
The MPT Accelerator: Clinical Foundations Course
Bridging the Gap Between University Theory and Real-World Execution
Transitioning into private practice is a known challenge.
University programs do a good job of preparing you to pass your licensing exams, but a massive gap remains when it comes to the fluid realities of treating complex clients in a clinical setting. Drowning in choice paralysis, textbook memorization, and slow academic assessment protocols can make your early months and years in practice feel overwhelming.
The objective of this course is simple: to fast-track your clinical certainty, introduce structured frameworks drawn from active practice, and give you hands-on skills to gain a definitive professional advantage from your very first week on the job.
- Date:
August 8-9, 2026
- Time:
8:30am – 4:30pm Daily
- Location:
Cardon Body Mechanic Teaching Center

The 3-Part Clinical Framework
1. Foundations of Clinical Surface Anatomy
“If you cannot accurately find a structure, you cannot effectively treat it.”
- • The Approach: Move past the structural guesswork often left behind by purely academic anatomy tracks. This block builds precise palpatory accuracy and deep tactile certainty across the posterior hip, thigh, shoulder girdle, spine, and limbs.
- • The Clinical Pathway: Mastering high-precision full-body surface mapping right now establishes the mandatory anatomical framework required for the advanced, deep-tissue manual interventions you will encounter later in your career — such as dry needling/ANIMS.
2. Foundations of the Knee
Deconstructing complex, real-world joint mechanics.
- • The Approach: Look beyond standard textbook protocols to address non-optimal movement patterns efficiently. You will investigate precise joint anatomy and biomechanics and develop a true hands-on feel for the structures that dictate knee health.
- • Clinical Application: Acquire practical, hands-on manual interventions designed to restore optimal joint, tissue, and patellar function. These skills will allow you to confidently address diverse knee pathologies across all patient populations — from sedentary individuals to elite athletes.
3. Foundations of Clinical Assessment
Establishing a clear starting point for every patient.
- • The Approach: Eliminate clinical choice paralysis. Replace rigid, cumbersome diagnostic test checklists with a simple framework that guides your critical thinking, evaluates the entire human system, and seamlessly translates physical findings into clear treatment pathways.
Establish Your Foundation. Advance Your Practice.
Bypassing the standard new-grad learning curve requires shifting from textbook memorization to definitive structural mapping. Learn how to find it, learn how to assess it and learn how to treat it.
