Modern Dry Needling Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation 1
(AN-IMS 1) – Nov 10-13, 2023

AN-IMS 1 is an intensive course created for health care practitioners who have not taken any IMS/Dry needling courses previously or are new to this application of dry needling. This includes those who have previous acupuncture training.

  • AN-IMS 1 trains participants to utilize the neuropathic clinical reasoning framework in the safe and effective application of dry needling as a treatment modality and will allow the practitioner to treat clients immediately. Throughout the course participants will learn to treat the whole body comprehensively. ANIMS 1 is a hybrid course with both online and in person components.

  • ANIMS-1 is the equivalent of Parts 1 and 2 of other dry needling programs. The entire body is covered in this comprehensive 4-day course. You will be able to apply for rostering following successful completion of ANIMS-1. *

    Foundations of Surface Anatomy for Modern Dry Needling ANIMS – Sep 23, 2023

    The Foundations of Surface Anatomy is a hands-on surface anatomy review course designed to assist students in preparing for FHE’s Modern Dry Needling ANIMS program. It was created to provide students with a review of the anatomical structures relevant to the practice of dry needling.

    This one-day course focuses on the hands-on identification of bony and muscular structures to perform dry needling techniques safely and effectively. Through practical demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will develop the necessary skills to integrate surface anatomy into their dry needling education.

    This course is highly recommended for any course participant that has not had a comprehensive, hands on, semester long course in surface anatomy in their physiotherapy program or has not had consistent surface anatomy review.
